How high/low do these brackets allow to sit compared to other normal sliding brackets (Wedge, etc)? I need as much headroom as possible, and although I see the seat mounting points are adjustable, how low can the seat go at the lowest setting?

The beauty of it is that you can recline the seat for head room, which is what I will be doing. By bolting it in it's front mounts as high as possible and it's rear mounts as low as possible, the seat should recline enough to give headroom for even the tallest folks. :)

Hmm good point! I'm 6'3" with a tall torso and I have to be able to fit in with a helmet. It's pretty close as it is right now, but then again we're going to cut out the sunroof cassette which will help some...

I have contacted the CNC shop and asked to confirm timeline. Should have a reply soon.

The black anodized sidemounts allow to use a race seat on a stock slider, but also, if you still have problems with being too tall for the car, you can mount the seat directly on the floor with the help of two steel or aluminum angle plates found at any hardware store for $20, and make a custom floor install, alowing another 2" clearance with roof.

I have seen many shops take 4 to 5 hours to install a race seat, fabricating and trying solutions. Nothing is easy, espcecially when installing a race set. Those flat sidemounts make install much easier, and cheaper.

If you are interested and want to use the pre-order price, then copy the list and add your name. Don't send money, and if you want to step out later, no problem. Once the parts are received, I will ask payment and offer pre-order prices only to the people on the list. The list is not a commitment. Just showing your interest.

              Thanks guy for your support.

We have to use sliders on our race car because there's a 6" height difference between drivers. I really like this solution since it's fairly economical considering we can use the stock slider.

We haven't purchased the seat yet (will be soon) but I'll put my name on the list as an interested party.

Sidemounts are currently at the anodizing stage. They will all anodized black. Without any brand engraving (but stickers supplied). The two bottom mounting holes are 10mm in diameter to fit those who want to use the sidemounts directly on the floor. They can be mounted as is on OEM rails for racing (using a 5-6 point harness bolted properly). If you want to use the rearward inner mounting point for the 3-point latch, then I recommend drilling the hole to 12mm and use the supplied 12mm bolt for added strength. Each set will come with four 10mm Allen bolts/nuts and the optional M12 x 1.5 bolt/nut for the latch.

I expect to get the sidemounts by mid-week.

The current version has an extra hole at the bottom of each row to lower the seat even more. When using the sidemounts on OEM sliders, the limitation to lower the seat is directed by the latching mechanism. If you use the sidemounts with iron aluminum angles, the limitation comes from... the floorpan.
Aluminun sidemounts usually retail for $120+ and might not offer the same versatility.
