Will the support bar work with all your plates? I want one for my M20 plate but i may need an M30 plate within a few months :D

Pretty much everything in Chicago on a daily basis.

The detonator was train tracks mixed with horrid pavement.

The dent in the plate and the cracks in the pan are different hits and in different locations. The cracks are front pass. side. The dents are all towards the rear.

You should see the subframe...:(

I have the new brace done and its at enginering waiting to be draw. My stuff gets back back burnered. I don't know if this would have helped. The brace is going to stiffen up the front. Where its hitting in the back is very strong. Do they do any maintenance on the road there?

That's the plan. I'm sure it will fit the M20 M30 and DOHC. the M42 my take a different one. Once I get some production I will have Matt bring his car in and we will see.

Mucci, none of those bends should have brought your plate at all close to the oil pan unless, as I already predicted, your motor mounts are shot. If you've been hitting things on a regular basis I'm not surprised they're shot, perhaps consider something a little stiffer next time and try driving with your eyes open?

Chicago is actually one of the better cities about repairing their roads. The plate isn't much more then an inch off the ground so it's going to take a beating.

And the mounts are in pristine condition. Checked them last night before, and after dropping the subframe.

I didn't have any trouble with mine. I reinstalled them upside down (nut at bottom), so that it would be easier in the future to remove the skid plate.
