Eric's plate saved my wife's E30 from some idiot's trailer hitch that wasn't secure properly, we were driving and we see a trailer hitch laying in the middle of the lane, with no paved shoulder and traffic right behind us, there was no where for us to go but over it, the plate saved the oil pan and my sanity.
