I just sent ejnight a PM asking for little more information about the availability, shipping time, and price of a black powder coated steel one for my M20. He called me within 3 minutes, answered my questions that they are in stock, it will ship today, and gave me a fair price through paypal shipped to Houston. I cannot wait until it shows up, but I have no worries or doubts with that kind of service. Thanks ejnight!

haha, just saw this tonight actually. Shoot me a PM and we can meet up for the plate. I'd definitely want to drive yours for comparison. You can drive mine with the Mark D chip too.

Tested mine out last weekend... hit a huge bump that was completely unmarked and unavoidable. Car practically got air and landed on the underbody on a raised manhole cover. Took almost all of the paint off the bottom of the skidplate, but no damage to the oil pan or front subframe. Very, very glad I had this thing on my car.

You should hook up with someone that has a 335 (m30e30). Our pans are LOW and the motor seems to need to be taken out if we damage a pan. So I am very interested if you ever find out if it fits ours.

I know there are I think 2 people around you that have the M30 swapped cars.

I just did almost the exact same thing the other night. With my m42 pan hanging down there I was really concerned. I have never cringed so hard when I heard the crunch of the skidplate, I thought for sure it was ripped off. Nope, barely even scratched the paint off the thing. A solid piece of material for sure. Without it I am 100% sure my oilpan would be about 2 inches shorter.

Also, my mechanic only installed the pan with 2 of the front bolts. I'm wondering if the others are necessary or if I'm ok with just the 2.
