No luck. I have other plates but not a DOHC shot.

Mine was over 1/4" when I first installed. Worked fantastic. I would post a current picture but, I took a HUGE hit while driving on some roads under construction and I was unfamiliar with the area. So, it's more like 1/8" of clearance as of right now. In the process of removing as we speak.

I think I was a bit confusing in my original post. I mean to say, I'm removing and giving it a good wack then REINSTALLING.

Eric's skid plate literally saved my S50's oil pan. It did it's job on a VERY, VERY HARD HIT on some shit fucking roads. His skid plate WILL save your oil pan under 99% of normal driving.

Just wanted to speak up for the quality of EJknight's products.

I live in Boca Raton, which is practically speedbump capital of the damned state, if not nation, and the skidplate has saved my M42's pan on a daily basis, or so I like to think at least.

Very easy install, and quick shipping. Great guy and I highly recommend them for any E30, except maybe Rally cars ;)

Ordered! Thanks man cant wait! Actually not driving my car until I get this in. My pan has about 1.5" of clearance as is. Imo it would be stupid for me not to get this.

I picked up a USED one with a decent dent in it. I straightened it back out, and it went right on no problems. Very structurally sound, even after it took a hit.

EXCELLENT product, do not hesitate to get one!
