yo all! Thats awesome that poeple are interested. maybe we can get this goin. I dont have a word on price yet, as i need to talk to my friend at the shop. We'd be getting the deal through a VW shop in minnesota just outside minneapolis called S&L. I'll talk with people and stuff and get you all more info. PM me with your name and some more info as to what you drive, and where you're located and possibly some more contact info so i can keep everyone informed.

Keep in mind that this might not go through as i might be able to get a good deal on some myself for just one set. I know that sounds selfish, but GB's are a real pain in the butt, and I gotta figure out if i wanna go through it all.

None the less, i'll keep you all posted and i'll get some word on possible prices.

It would help to post on a ton of boards if you decide to go through with it, but you would be the man if you did. After getting a buncha guys on each forum, that would be an awesome price drop. Please, I'm begging ya man, do it! ;)
      Reminiscing...

if you can get me an idea of what the price will be with the 5 person group buy, and what the price break will be for 10 - and we can get that many... I'm a swing voter too. ;) Keep me informed.

so if i bought these, and i'm upgrading from stock suspension, what else would i want to buy?
Join the IE Stage 3 Group Buy. This is like the perfect suspension set up, and it's what I hope to run. Konis with IE Stage 3, that thing will feel like a race car, esp if you want to up the sway bars sometime in the future!
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

well someone said that there 5-600 bucks. So im guessing (if we get a good amount of people and the organizer is a good talker) we could the a set for 400-450? Maybe even lower.

Hey my mom is a REALLLY good at talking to people (sales person) and getting what she wants (in some ways its bad, and i dont like it, but it can come in handy). She knows she needs new shocks, maybe she can do some talking lol?

The Konis are $535 from shox.com (usually the cheapest around). I'd be surprised if they'll be down to $450 + shipping in the group buy.

if so then it would proabably be best to get these instead instead of the Bilstein sicne u would only be paying around 80 bucks more... im sold :D

If you'll use them to their potential then they're worth it, otherwise get the Bilsteins and save $80...

yo schneider.... the effort is appreciated posting on other boards and stuff...... but i'll do the recruiting thanks. and i'm dealing with my buddy here so its not like i needa do much talking. I'm in sales too so i got it covered. i'll post again later tonight with some prices hopefully. More people = better price break = more headache for me.

Disclaimer: NONE OF THIS IS OFFICIAL YET SO DONT GO TELLING EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER ABOUT HOW YOU'RE GETTING KONI'S FOR CHEAP

I don't understand why you would post a Group-Buy Feeler if you're unsure about whether or not you actually want to go through with it...
