IE 3's should be fine so long as you dont plan on doing any 4-wheeling and make sure and keep an extra set of shock mounts lying around ANY TIME you go to an aftermarket suspension... they break on E30's very easily... if you can afford it, save up and buy billet aluminum shock mounts WITH your new suspension... THEY ARE WORTH IT!!!
posts like this deter me from wanting to upgrade my shocks/springs.

Actually, IE sells Koni, too. It just isn't on the website.

Fair enough. I was just browsing the site a few days back and noticed it.

Any update on when these are going to happen? I'll have enough in 2 - 3 weeks, so please let us know if it's going down or not.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Just dont go balls out and you'll be fine... get something that lowers your car a good bit but rides well and be done if it is your street car...

always remember... YOU PAY TO PLAY... anyone with a race ready or high perf. street car knows that...

Any word on whether this is going down or not? I'm this close to buying from IE right now... I NEED shocks...

i bought them from ground control, $590 before shipping. You have to buy 12mm shock mounts for rear to fit ( seeing as the KONIS are 12mm and my stock 318is were 10mm). I am not to sure about the size of the struts yet. I believe they will fit stock size because Ground Control only sells rear shock mounts (and they are a suspension company).

edit** Yes all 4 are top adjustable, they were custom made for Ground Control.

.....the newer top adjustable rears require the 12 mm rsm's. The older bottom adjust. still use 10 mm rsm.
