IS splitter Group Buy

Are these being shipped out yet? I'm interested, but unfortunately I'm in a bit of a hurry. We've got a PBOC race at Daytona this weekend, and we'd like to have the hot-rod splitter to complete the racey look..

Haven't been shipped yet, but I know its a go, just wanting to wait for the guys in europe to get me the money so I can do them all at once. Not sure if I can get it out this weekend as I'd have to get material and get it cut tomorrow, which proly can't happen w/ college... Sorry I can't do it in such a rush.

Sweet, so you've got the IS front lip like in the first. Sounds good. I'll put you down for a 1.5".

So in talking w/ e30_fiend and knockenwelle it sounds like friday works best. So temporarily friday nov. 7 as end date. Any time before that is fine, just let me know that you sent it so I can match up whoes paid and who hasn't.

excuse the noob question, but whats the difference between the 1 inch and the 1.5 inch? nothing more than just a thicker/longer splitter? or...?

yup for personal preference, i'd go with the 1.5 so you can decide later to go 1in if you want, just gives you more options

Yep, just sticks out further. They go all the way down the sides so you don't have a gap of where the splitter is on the bottom of the lip on the sides.

and what are the differences between these and the ones Ryan G (M3 Ryan) makes? any differences at all, or just the same thing made by two different people?

These are normally 90 shipped. These aren't a one size fits all, are a thicker material(3/16 thick) and the sides don't have any gap towards the back where when you space it forward you start to get. His are designed for visual, and then I did mine with the intent of protecting the lip more than visual, and then also adding a bit more downforce. If you want more details than that, those are only the few that come first to mind, but there was a bunch of compare and contrast w/ his in the regular splitter thread in the for sale section, which can be found here

thanks, i like these better than the Ryan G ones. so youre not doing any of the full splitters anymore? i read the whole thread and it seems everyone was stoked off of them, but the pictures werent working so I coiuldnt see what it looked like haha

HAHA. Yeah I can still do them. I was doing $85 for the group buy rate for them as I normally charge $100 for them. One sec I'll look for the picture of one of the full splitters.

BTW, these come w/ the disclaimer that at high speeds, such as triple didget speeds, I'm not responsible if your lip comes off from the downforce. Yes it has happened w/ one of the 1.5" full splitters. He had old mounts for the IS lip onto the valence and they finally broke from the downforce which in turn broke off and got his lip and the splitter crushed by a few tractor trailers on the freeway.

why would one want a full splitter like that? just to be able to have it protrude out farther?

ya i read that part too haha, id be pissed if it ripped off and i ran over it
