I'm pretty sure Mark didn't produce 153 chips because there was such a small amount of those ECUs around, and something else having to do with two chips needed (forget exactly). If you have a 153 you'll need to buy one of the other models, they're on the 'For Sale' forum all the time for dirt cheap.

If you have a 153 ECU, you need a 153 chip from Mark.

If you have a 173 ECU, you need a 173 chip from Mark.
If you have a 380 ECU, you need a 173 chip from Mark.
If you have a 525 ECU, you need a 173 chip from Mark.

Mark, i didnt mean to bug you about the deal. I'm guessing your sale count is at about 25 now and my calculations were based on 33 sales. Thats a realistic target but sales can be a gamble.
I will do what i can to spread the word further and help some more chip sales along... especially if youre considering going further. ;)

You'd have to avoid putting any less than 93, ever again.

Or do what I did, and just keep the stock chip in the car in case of such an emergency. Swapping it takes 5mins or less after you do it the first time.

And yeah, 91 and up is good to go for a 91 chip.

The 93 vs. 91 chip makes a difference. Noticeable.

I put the 17lb/hr injectors in and it actually made my OBC dead-on accurate. Ironic.

O I'm not getting greedy at all. I'm just saying if 28 chips were sold, which looks like a possibility, if he'd give us a bigger discount due to the whole income thing. And I'm sure if there was a bigger discount, even more people would sign up for one. I didn't mean to be disrespectful at all.

I hope you don't mind if I cap the discount at 15% + 3% early bird bonus, I thought that was pretty good. I had maybe 15 sales in the last 4 months so this just helps me catch up. Plus those sales were when the $CAN was higher, so I didn't make much on them. I know the market for OBD-I chips is declining every year, but this past year was really bad, especially after that one guy I mentioned in July started shipping clone chips with the 19# injectors he was selling. Now that $1USD = $0.79 CAN, I was able to take 15% off.

Someone else emailed asking about a 25% discount, and he said that I'd make an extra $1K from the added sales, but I calculated that I'd actually have $600 less in net sales after the refunds. (based on 25 sales). Right now, around 24 people have paid for 25 chips.

What I'll do is extend the early bird discount till next Friday evening. (I had mistakenly thought that the American Thanksgiving was this weekend, and that's why I picked yesterday as the early bird deadline)
Then next Saturday, I'm going to see what the sales have been and *may* decide to increase the discount to 18% + 3% for the earlybirds for a total of 21%. If I get 12 more sales, I'll do it.
