Be careful of many sites out there too that show list or 'competitive' price next to their online price. I've seen many of these that are inflated such that their online price looks to be discounted where it might not. On my site the list price shown is BMW NA retail (for replacement parts of course) so you can see what the actual price difference is. In some cases it isn't much because the aftermarket/OEM cost is high. But it also lets you know what retail is if you went into a dealer! It's generally quite accurate too. Obviously BMW updates their pricing every so often so my list prices might not be exactly real time but I do find them to be accurate.
Cheers.

It was fun!
Haha, I did the same thing for my five speed swap. They didn't place the order until 2 days after I dropped off the list. I picked it up and they gave me 5 pages of receipts.
I got funnier looks when I ordered my rear quarter panel through them though. The box was HUGE.

Heh, I think I'll have to get the parts in the minivan... :-D
Just placed the order, from the dealer in the end, as they were the only ones who could supply all the small parts. I asked if I could get an additional 5% on top of the CCA 10%, and they said yes, so its all good :-)
I'll update with pics in my project thread when it's all installed...Moving sale: Everything Must Go!
