Really? He never mentioned that to me, he did say they fit fine with a slight roll though...

But like you said, it was entirely dependent on what suspension you run.

Actually he said he was running 245 with a slight roll but the 235's do not rub at all.

Oh nice...I held up a 235/40/17 I have on one of my M Contours from my E36 next to the E30 today and it looks like it will be a pretty sweet size.

I've got -3 degrees of camber on both rear tires, so hopefully that helps me tuck some tire without rubbing.

I will be adding rear camber and rolling the fenders... I am trying to squeeze 245/40/17's in the rear.... Hopefully I can make it fit without to much rubbing...

I just wanna stuff 235 star specs under the car. GC Coils are partially assembled, install should be some time this week hopefully.... still debating whether or not I should get an alignment or something. If someone can tell me how to do the string thing I'll give it a whirl and wait for the summer stuff to arrive

:up:wow we have a similar setup. I just finished installing my GC's (440 /700 w/ shortened housings) last week, and am going for 235-40 star specs too. I have read really good things about the dunlops. I am gonna wait to get the wheels on and adjust my ride height before i do allignment.

As some of you already know, not all tires have the same width, despite sporting the same numbers. Per exemple, Toyo's new R888 are much wider than the old RA1, and the Kuhmo V700 are also much wider and squarer than the RA1. And as was mentionned, camber plates will help tuck the top of the tires withing the fenders. I can't wait to see those wheels installed on your e30s, with, hopefully, lots of data about which tires work, which don't.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I'm hoping with the camber plates in the front, It will be a little easier to stuff the 235s under the corners.

                            UPDATE:

I received an email. getting the wheels to board the ship has been delayed by 7 days. I don't know what causes that, I can only assume a ship leaves once a week. So this means wheels will arrive 1 week later then expected.

I apologize for the delay but that's why I could never give out a 100% firm date of arrival. I'm just glad to hear they're done :D

                            Ryan,

That is correct. I've been stuck without a good internet connect where I am right now. I found a week signal from a neighbor so I can post.

A situation came up where a single set of Hyper silver wheels are available at the regular groupbuy price rate. Long story short, one person can hop on a set of Hyper silver wheels and still get the discount.

                            contact me if interested.
