Thanks again for letting me use your car for the initial test fitment. I really appreciate the help.

I took some photos of the 4 lug wheels today. They'll be going up on the site, but here's another color comparison with 4 lug wheels not 5 lug like the previous post.

They do look really nice. Its too bad there are not people like paintpro in other car communities - like for my 928! Wheel not available, to wheels designed, to wheels ordered, to wheels delivered in less time than it took me to get normal coilovers made and delivered on that car.

ngcreese did you delete your post? I definitely got an email notification saying you responded with a quote, but there's no post here..... Pics will be up shortly, just got home from Bimmer Burger Night and took a handful. None really specifically of the wheels, but I'll get more tonight / tomorrow... THE NIGHT IS YOUNG! I've got people to see, things to do.

                  1)

                  2)

Ride height is 12 3/4" in the front, about an inch higher in the rear (I didn't measure and it's been a while so I forget). Very minor rubbing in the front when turned full lock.... So I lowered it a little more in the front and moved the camber plates to -1*, no issues at all driving. The rears didn't rub unless I hit a big ass dip or something. Overall, I'm happy :)

Needs alignment still and I have to decide what my final ride height will be, set it precisely both sides, and enjoy.... Oh, and it's a fucking oversized go-kart now.... The car will go where I point it, and it sticks like glue...

Oh, and everyone was gathered around that black e30 because he had a nicely done DIY paint job, as well as a clean s50 swap.

235/40/17 Dunlop Star specs <---- Edited size because I didn't post correctly. I'm running 235/40 dunlop star specs.

                    Bishop, The car looks great!

If you have camber plates, you should set your camber to at least -2 or -2.5

Ignore the numbers on the plates as they are worthless, you'll need the alignment guys to loosen the plates and then set the correctly before they adjust your toe (should be set to zero).

it will give you more clearance, much better handling, and hardly add wear to your tires if your toe is zero'ed out.

if you like the wheels, you'll trust me on this :D Is the tire rubbing on the top of the fender arch, or is it rubbing against the the front/rear inner fender liner? What size tires did you end up going with?

Fuck me it looks good. I'm honestly thinking aboug getting a regular e30 just to run these wheels on something!

Eddy, can you PM me some suggested alignment settings / ride height settings? I didn't really think about it till now, but since the wheels n tires are on, I need to make an appointment. I know I could / should run more, I just wanted to run a little more to get the front to tuck so I could lower it a tad. The wheels n tires lifted the vehicle lol.... Rubbing in the front: Very front of the fender liner. Left side was broken so i had to remove most of it to make it work (I hope). It was rubbing barely on the rear of the fender liner, nothing to worry about either way because either rubbing only occurred when I was near full lock either way. The rears I'm sure were rubbing on the top of the arch, inside lip.... BUT, they only rubbed like I said, on really rough roads when the car was bouncing around. I'm going to ignore it for now until I can get to a driving school, autox, or some spirited driving and throw the car around and see if it rubs then. If it does, some trimming or proper rolling may be in order.... Overall, I'm happy as FAWK, the wheels and tires completely changed the car's on-road characteristics....

I'll also take more / better pics for you, if you want em. I also need em for a new signature... Would really love to track down a mirror first.

They do look really nice Bishop, as does the car as a whole. I'm partial to sedans, though. ;)

Eddy, what is the actual weight of these mama's? I'm going to run Lee's race kits, and the list of 15's that fit is short, to say the least. Have you had one on a scale yet?

Thanks guys, and Eddy, the size is in my post toward the bottom. 235/40 Dunlop Star Specs (which is a tire known to run wide....). I'm happy I'm rubbing less than expected.

As predicted by the factory, the wheel i put on the scale was 17.50lbs. There will always be some variance from wheel to wheel by a little bit, and even the paint finish effects total weight (hyper finish is 3 paint layers over a primer)

                                Bishop.

Just do as I mentioned above. Set the car as low as you can/want to go.
Set the front to 2.5 negative camber. caster at factory spec. and toe at 0. the rear is not adjustable at all unless modified. And your done.

Please do take some more photos. a stand level angle shot would be perfect. I could use it for the e30 non-m wheel section icon on our site.
