The New Subwoofer box FS thread

Guys, this time we are gonna offer some diversity.

The current plan has E36 coupe (sedan soon), E34 (Touring if you really wanna, Om nom nom BOOM!) E28 (yes James, yours is first) I am trying to find an E46 to test with and a few choices in E30: Sealed 10, Ported 10, Thin 10 (Zen edition) Sealed 12, and 2 ported 12s (V1 and V2), plus a special Bauer Edition that retains storage for the top.

I would get strung up if I didn't mention the Cabby boxes. I swear, cabbys will happen. Just not the first couple of runs.

What I need from you guys is input: basically, who wants what, and how "finished" do you want them?

Pay Pal is gonna be my friends on this now, no more visa machine. Production starts shortly, so grab your tax return checks!

    Luke

i'm in for a e30 12" ported box. i'm not sure if i want v1 or v2 though. does one sound better than the other? i won't lie. i'm worried about not being able to hear the mids & highs with only the front speakers. but you're the expert, so i'll trust your word...

whats the difference between the thin (zen) and the other. I wanted a ported one for a 10. I think we decided that my IDmax10 would not fit. Money in hand.

cmflossin: its fine with no rears. I haven't had any for years

also has a price been established.

Hey Luke, how much are you asking for these?

What are the dimensions these boxes, I'm thinking about either buying one or just making one myself.

when he says zen ... he is talking about having a box that will fit with the rear brace system installed ... it needs to be a lot slimmer than the other ones ...

                  gonna be awesome!!

I'm in for a 10'' ported. I don't care about my rear speakers or the zen brace. A trim panel to mount my amps on would be cool too, or just a template for one.

I just want something with the kick ass ports on my rear decklid. I don't know which of those boxes are tried and proven, but I know I want some boom! So I'll take whatever Grandmaster Luke recommends. Its for a standard E30 2 door.

                          Cabby box for me...

Assembled or not is fine. External finish not required.
