                Yup. They are wheel spacers. Available with 1.5mm and 3mm thickness. I include them because depending on the wheels guys run, they may want a bit more clearance. The spacers also make-up for the small ridge cause by the thinner VW hat, compared to a BMW hat. VW hats are about 0.75mm thinner.

                          You will need some brake fluid, and a few inches of teflon tape.

                          No cutting or grinding required. The only exception would be that the OEM backing plates must be removed. Just cut it out. Notice that ABS is not affected, but you must short the brake pad sensor and tie wrap it on the strut.
