Adam Hanson (Lowen Designs) - also a_hanson on eBay THIEF

I ordered smoked Hella Smileys from this guy from an auction he had on eBay. He was great on the emails until i sent my money...3 months later and a BS story about the set he was going to send had a broken lense. I'll repost if he comes through on the deal, but for now....He's bad news.

Hey Adam - send me my lights !!!

he has always been going under a_hanson on ebay. That is one way it was discovered his real name was Adam Hanson instead of Kraig Lowen/Snowden. I cant remember.
          Im now E30less.

I'm new to E30's - BMW's for that matter. Anybody have any suggestions for how to get my money back? It sucks that my 1st upgrade to the M3 has to end in me getting screwed over.

You're not getting your money back, bro. I know it sounds harsh, but that's the way it goes with this asshole. Count your losses and move on.

Isn't it "cut your losses"? Seems counting losses would only piss one off more.

I'd rather bid on his auctions and ring up his auction fees than just smile and take it in the shorts - or at least figure out some way to cause him such a headache he just gives in. Anybody ever had any luck retrieving money from internet fraud? Or have a suggestion on a good way to deal him a big headache. (I don't mean anything physical so this isn't meant to be a threat for those who may read this)

Sorry I'm the "welcome to last week" guy on this one - but maybe some other newb will see this and save themselves some cash.

It seems like there'd be a way to bust him on fraud... especially since he has that website.

Here is the FBI's fraud page:

File a claim. I have one against the asshole that sent me a broken i730 Nextel phone as we speak.

If you paid through paypal, you can file a claim through them. Every time I've had to file a claim through paypal, I've gotten all my money back. Also, report him to ebay, atleast if he's reported enough he can be kicked off. Other than that, you're pretty much limited to a more strenuous legal solution.
