I've never dealt with matt-b but everyone I know that has done business with him, seems very pleased. That being said, My brother does auto upholstery and has seen this before, its a common issue and all you have to do is pull on the material a little and make it fit snug around the frame. Clips are not necessary, maybe the OP should try a little glue.

It has been since July 2nd and I still have the same problem as I did with the first set of boots you sent me a month after I paid for them.

I mean seriously, I work on BMW's all the time. Look on BFC and see if I'm a retard or someone who knows what they are doing.

I don't think the boots are suppose to fit loose on the frame. to me it looks like the material has plenty of slack to fit over that frame.

well you might want to look at hte pictures a little closer. I have it stretched tight over hte frame and it is too short to cover them on the bottom corners.
I even asked a few friends locally who are car guys to look at it and tell me if i am an idiot.

I also asked matt on mor ethan one occasion to show me a picture of one of his e36 boots installed on a frame so I can see if I am doing something wrong.

I did get one of these boots to fit perfectly on my E30 frame I had.......

I've been waiting a long time for my E46 boots. I even went as far as mailing him my frames and old boots since he wanted to make patterns. I have a feeling he's been getting our orders mixed up.

I'm still waiting on my boots since late July / early August. I decided to go with Matt because of the general feedback and I am sure he'll do right in the end it just seems to take soooooo long.

these last few sets have guys, I work 4am till 4pm or later. USPS closes at 5....i miss dropping stuff off a couple times, if you ordered at all, EVERYTHING LEAVES MONDAY

for everyone....some will have tracking....

and Santiago, yours took a while, patterns have to be made etc, and tested. i made 3 sets till I had a winner...never made e46 before

i work 6am to around 5 or 6pm...so its a long day and I cant always make it to USPS.

You should buy the frames off all the different boots you offer so you can test fit them before sending them out. Like have an E28, E34, E36, and E46 frames sitting around.

I bartered with matt-b a few months back.... My houndstooth shift and e-brake boots are real attention grabbers and fit perfect. I'm waiting for him to make me a headliner to match :) In the meantime we have made arrangements for me to move to WA where we can be room mates, play with 24v swaps, and get a set of bunk beds..... We will alternate top bunk so its fair. ;)

I have all them, i bought an "e36" one that was different, but i got the correct one, and i ave them all...

The items were hand stitched, obviously, and I was very happy with the quality of the fabric. I am very stoked on how they look in the car, huge improvement from stock! A must have item in your car for a great price! Took some time to receive because of some issues with his sewing machine, but didn't bother me.
