So yesterday after I had filled up his voice mail box, I was working but on my lunch break I continued to call his cell and the message came on saying, "the voice mail box bellonging to andy damen is full" "if you would like to page this person please press 5 now". So i decided to just page him. I kept calling and paging and calling and paging my whole lunch break (girlfriend wasnt to happy lol.).

NO RESPONSE.

So I tried a new tactic. The text message. I sent him the message saying, "call me". I sent that over and over more than 50 times in a row before I went to bed.

NO RESPONSE.


I was over at my girlfriends house till 4 am and I woke up to go home... What was the first thing I did with the spare time I had??? I began texting andrew! I now wrote "call me now!" I continued this for about 20 messages, and then went back to the calling and paging technique. ....

HE RESPONDED!!!

Here is how our texting went. This is a dialouge from this mornign. 4am my time 3 am his time.

Andy: Wow dude you're psycho. The shit has been shipped out already chill.

Me: Whats the tracking Number?

Andy: My Grandfather has it, I told you that. It was shipped Fed Ex ground.

Me: Well you told me it was shipped out two weeks ago, it should have been hyere already. It doesnt take two weeks to get from your place to mine.

Andy: It'll be there soon, you must live far out from the city.

Me: I live right in the middle of the Damn city.

Andy: Well then you shouldve seen it already, he shipped it out.

Me: That is why I need the tracking number. Plus if there was an issue fed ex would have called. Plus I e mailed you my phone number.

Andy: There was an initial delay but it has been shipped.

Me: What the fuck does that mean initial delay? Look you need to call me tommorow and talk about this.

Andy: Its not a problem. We can figure it out with the tracking number in the morning.

Me: Your Damn right were going to figure it out. Otherwise I will be contacting your boss about it.

Andy: Ok its not a problem. Its already been shipped, I have time tommorrow morning.

Me: Well What the fuck was your deal? I have been trying to get a hold of your for months!

Andy: Uh my fucking house burnt down and the package was ruined so i had to repackage it and get if from the house while going to school and trying to take care of my two sisters and hold down a job.

Me: Ok, well I told you that I understood that. But you have been on the forums and never communicated with me. Why would that be? You still have time to go on the forums but cant answer a fucking pm?

Andy: It should be there already, yes you are correct, I apologize for that fact, but it has been shipped already, it should be there by this weekend.

Me: Where the hell do you pull that estimate from? It will be here this weekend? Fuck.

Andy: My computer has it as the homepage, and its a shared computer. I have been busy enough to only quickly check , i have not been on much.


Andy:C'est la vie

Me: What the hell does that mean?

Andy:Well if its not there by now, then it should be only days till its arrival.

Andy: Who knows what the real issue is, Its not there and it should be, ill get the number tomorrow and figure out where its at, it could be on its way to your place.

Me: What the fuck? it could be on its way? First you say it has been shipped two weeks ago, then you tell me it could be on its way? What the hell?


Andy:I handed off the responsibility of shipping the package to someone who shouldnt have shipped it, it just took a while, at least your still getting an mint bumper.

Me: At this point I might just send it back and get my money back, I wont suppourt someone who treats a buyer like this. I have work in the morning. Im going to bed. Call me tomorrow.

Andy: I have work as well, when do you finish?

Me: I am available all day.

Andy: Ok, then as soon as I have the number.

Me: Just get me the number asap and call me. Im done waiting around wondering wtf is going on.

Andy: Before 5pm

Me: You said morning, and now its before 5pm? What are you saying?

Andy: Ok well its already been shipped, so youll see it soon. Ill have the number tomorrow.

Me: Well its about time. And how hard was it to pick up the phone and communicate with me? Your a fucking lazy ass waste of space andy...

Any: I need a confirmation that this slip of the trigger wont be wasted.

Me: What?

Me: What the hell does that mean?


So that is how the dialog went, and now I am late for work after typing this, but Its ok...

Now we wait for his response...

I agree with you Lee. I appreciate your level headed input. Your right, posting his number probably wasnt the best Idea, but I am down to a very few number of options here. I have tried to be civilized about this and that is obviously not working... I wish I could get a hold of his parents, maybe they would talk some sense into the lad...

I will be calling his work tomorrow in an attempt to reach Andrew and achieve some kind of understanding...

I am not persuaded that having the whole r3v membership call him is necessarely a good idea. That guy could even file a complain for harassment and can possibily be in his right. Nonetheless, calling him at work can have two effects.
1- He will know he can't hide, which will put pressure on him to act straight.
2- His boss might not appreciate having an employee being called at work. And the employee may want to keep his job by making the calls stop... by paying back.

Any call should be polite and civilized. Just the sheer pressure is enough. The kid is probably a good kid with no sense of responsibility or judgement.
