Yup, Motorsport-Tech makes everything themselves on their own CNC machines.

you can get the adaptec (the product they are selling) spacers from other vendors. another person to contact on the forums is LedJetta, he should be able to help you. (8380 Labs)

so who else sells adapters, as in 1 piece hub to wheel centric 5mm and up ? I got these from Junior too, two week turn around. The lugs shipped were the wrong size the first time and had to send another set. Over all my buying experience with these guys was so-so. I sell parts myself, been doing it for years. Emails were never answered, I had to pick up the phone and call. I just didn't feel any enthusiasm from these guys, although I did get the product I was looking for. That being said I still need another set of spacers, who else makes them ???

EDIT: Rob the spacer guy, I would NEVER do business with him, such a shitfucktard.
Being in sales, I understand how customers can get under your skin, especially when they hold the pov of "im the only person on earth, do what i want now now now", but that still doesn't give him an excuse to treat customers, or anyone else for that matter, like that. Anyone with the means to do so, can step in and take his place in the market, and as long as they produce similar product and return a pohne call or two they will be welcomed with open arms. I haven't done business with MotorSport Tech as of yet, and although I was planning on snagging some spacers from them, I will now look elsewhere.

I have always had good transactions with Motorsport-Tech. I always went through Greg though, I had him on speed dial. I have dealt with Junior a few times, never any complaints, was always real nice, will explain below.

Although, Motorsport-Tech is very careless on how they work their customer service, they never returned calls. When I first ordered my spacers, they shipped them from Nevada to California for some reason to the other place they have. Then they supposedly shipped them to me, I never got them. I called back, no one would tell me what's up so they said to call Junior, to which I did. Junior was nice, said he would remake my spacers and have them out ASAP. I had them 4 days later.

What he supposedly said to you, was not in the right. However it's possible people were giving him a real hard time that day, or even a few minutes before he talked to you. To which he ended up going out of proportion and flipping on you.

Ouch. This thread, plus http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=205150 does not make this vendor look like anyone I'd work with.

    e30Rob - WARNING - Motorport Tech

Here is a long-winded review of my long-winded experience ordering adapters for my e30.

First, lets just get it out of the box. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYONE DO BUSINESS WITH MOTORSPORT TECH, located in Sparks, Nevada. If you order your adapters through e30Rob on the forums, you are ordering from Motorsport Tech.

I ordered my adapters on February 19th 2011, and didn't receive a usable product until April 20th, 2011, 60 days later. The order was made incorrectly once, and the wrong hardware spec'd incorrectly once.

    Reasons to avoid Motorsport Tech:

    1) Although Motorsport Tech might be a busy company, their turnaround times are horrendously slow. I'm fine with the fact that the original custom order took a little over 2 weeks to get to me, but when I had to return them for corrections, the turnaround times were 26 days the first time, and 15 days the second time.

    2) Motorsport Tech did not return my calls, and in general had bad customer service.

Here is an example log of what happened, and why I told Junior is customer service was shit:
3/8/11 - Return shipped adapters to Motorsport Tech
3/14/11 AM- Delivery confirmed two days prior, so I call them to dicuss the correction, but they cant find the package. I ask them to call me back when they do.
3/15/11 PM- No call from Motorsport Tech, so I call them myself. They found the package and will correct what was wrong (cut the wrong CB size).
3/22/11 PM- Call Motorsport Tech for tracking information. Junior isnt there, and the other guy working cant find anything, so I ask for them to call me back when they get it.
3/24/11 PM- No call from Motorsport Tech, so I call them myself. They say 'Oh, we still have to send those out, we will ship them right away'
3/31/11 PM- No package yet, so I call them again. I get a tracking number for a package shipped 3/29 (5 days after they said they would ship it right away)

3)This strange relationship with e30Rob. Rob himself was a good guy to work with. He returned my messages, got my adapters ordered, and refunded my shipping costs (partially, so far). Rob said he worked for Motorsport Tech, and said that Junior (the owner of Motorsport Tech) told him to claim he was an employee. What reason do I have to not believe him? Well, when push came to shove with Junior, he denounced that Rob had anything to do with the company except acting as a middleman placing orders for people. When asking for a refund, he pushed all the blame to Rob and told me to get my money from him.

4)Junior, the owner of Motorsport Tech. Where do I begin? Oh yes, Junior's insults and threats to me over the phone.

He called me a fucking waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles multiple times.
He said "if you were mechanically inclined at all you could have figured out what we did wrong yourself."
He said "300 or some such number of people order adapters from him every month and I'm the only order he's had a problem with, so you do the math."
He said "If you were there now I'd kick your scrawny ass"
He said "You should do some research first before you order."
He hung up the phone on me mid-conversation.
He said that I was making it difficult, why would i waste the time sending everything back when I knew what was wrong, WHEN HE TOLD ME TO SEND IT ALL BACK.

He basically exploded on the phone when I told him his customer service was shit because of the preceding reasons above and it had been almost 2 months of waiting. He attacked me, blamed me, took no responsibility, and didnt act like the owner of a company should act.

Please, everyone, take your business elsewhere, don't let Junior think this is acceptable behavior. Please share this story with people who might find it important.

The shipping department did not receive you return at all. The shops have been checked, rechecked, an checked again. I can't garuntee your was not simply missplaced. It makes it no easier that you did not retain any information I.e. Tracking once you shipped your order does not help any either.

As I said I have NO problem helping, however your order was not received back nor do you have any tracking or any information showing you did ship it back.
you told me to send it back right away rob , didnt think of needing a tracking number for a package that was going right back where it was sent from

the package is there somewhere , i'm without my order still and just want it fixxed ... there's no reason for me to lie or trick you into sending me another package ... the postal service would have sent it return address if no one would have accepted delivery at the machine shop ... it's clearly lost at the shop . the three months of downtime ... was me never getting a response from you ... i tried and tried through r3v

i don't see how i am at fault here ... i just want the adapters that i paid for

please call me , the package has to be there

Now with that being said, I'm not saying you didn't, I'm saying it's hard to track with no info. That an I just heard from you again 2 days ago after 3 months. As far as I knew you had been taken care of. I am working to come to some solution an I highly apologize for the dilemma we have found ourselves in.
we have spoken many times ... complications with the machine company that you work with doesn't mean i have to be out 200 dollars
