This situation sucks. Feel sorry for you. I was going to purchase some wheels from Luke! earlier this year but didn't come to agreement with seller. Now I'm glad it didn't work out cause I was planning on sending money as a gift to save.

Did you pay for the wheels with funds that were already in you paypal account, or was it pulled from you cc or debit/checking? If so I'd dispute it with the bank, but if it was with funds sitting in you paypal account, like everyone else said earlier, your shits up creek without a paddle (never gift). Its a sad shame he isn't responding to you. Sounds Dodgy as fuck. I'd see if you can figure out some personal information (may take some scheming but @ your loss I would try everything possible) and possibly pay him a personal visit. I wouldn't say do this over $100 but if someone ousted me of $1100, i'd be on a Flight to said fools city to say hello to him.

I'm sure there is someone on this board or other boards he frequents that has to know him personally.

i talked to him for a bit awhile back...i know some bad shit went down that i wont relay here as its quite private..i havent talked to him in weeks or possibly a month or so (busy as fuck as of late on my part) and havent heard from or seen much of him on the internet ..so not sure what is going on at the moment ...

Sorry to sound insensitive, but he had time and all to post multiple other For Sale ads on other forums (s14.net, bigcoupe, and vwvortex) but not enough to give me any attention or anything. I don't doubt something bad could have happened, but for gods sake, at least send me a message or explanation or something. Please pass on to him I'm awaiting some sort of reply from him. thanks.

I'll check out bimmerforums for you, he's usually pretty active on that forum. It's really hard sending a lot of money overseas to someone you hardly know.

I NEVER send gifts unless they're to a good friend or family member. If you can't afford the paypal fees, then you put yourself at a huge risk.

Also, always use your credit card as the payment method! If Paypal can't help you, out, then you always have the CC company to back you up.

He was active on Vortex not two minutes prior to the BFc login. Think he's under a new screen name.

Yes I understand about the gifting thing, and its not that I couldn't afford it its just I didn't want to pay it haha I see where that got me

I'm the most active on StanceWorks out of any other forum I'm on, and I haven't seen any sign of him ever even signing up on there. Thanks for helping though.

Actually my friend and I were talking about if he (my friend) won the lottery, we would fly there with my other Polish speaking friend and hunt him down haha. And I think I'm up a creek because I think it was money sitting in the PayPal account already, but I'm going to double check.

Really surprised that Luke wasn't on Stanceworks. He had a lot of long sought after wheels, that the Stanceworks guys would've been drooling over.

Nevertheless this is a shitty situation. I almost bought a couple sets from him, but couldn't justify spending the amounts he was asking, because I can refinish wheels much cheaper myself.

Hopefully you get some resolution on the matter, but it looks like Luke is long gone.

I would post a thread in the BGC Wheel & Tire Classifieds about Lukle, to see if anyone has been in contact with him, or had a similar experience recently.
