    Pelican Parts

Placed order on 10/21/05 via phone at 1 pm. Spoke with rep, he checked stock, said everything was IN STOCK and was going to be shipped the same day if order placed before 3 pm PDT. Again, it was at 1 pm.

    Here's the order tracking:
    http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...command=lookup

    USPS tracking as of Monday:
    Label/Receipt Number: 9101 8052 1390 7914 0027 90
    Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on October 28, 2005 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Basically it is 10 days after the promised ship date and there's no record of them actually shipping it.

Spoke with CS, pretty weak explanation of "computer discrepansies"

I think it will be a while before I order anything from them if ever.

My order from Pelican Parts was pretty painless but when you need parts shipped on time I would stick with www.bmaparts.com

Deal with Steve Haygood instead..He can get you everything they can, and he is closer with being in GA. I've never had a single problem yet.

I ordered an engine stand from them and it came all fucked up, missing bolts and nuts and shit. Wouldn't use again. I use skyway tools for specialty tools and BMW or the local dealership for parts.

I got the order today in the mail. Everything looks great, except instead of exhaust manifold gaskets I got f---ing emblem grommets, they both happen to have identical last 3 digits. Nevermind that the rest of the digits are completely different. WTF?

Apparently they think the preceeding digits are unimportant.

                    Sorry

Just call him on the phone and give him the BMW part number or description and he can get it.

I have had some problems with them in the past. I placed an order over the phone and it took them about a month and a half to ship it. Then when I received the package it was the wrong part. I order all my parts from blunt now and his prices are cheaper.
