Complete and utter idiots.
CLIFFNOTES:
Edge Racing combined my shipping and billing addresses into a new imaginary address, then shipped my package to this make believe place.
I ordered new tires from Edge racing. Ordered just before noon (1pm EST) on Feb 27th. Tires shipped via UPS Ground.
Edgeracings online transit time chart is as shown:

The 3 day transit time was also verified by a Edgeracing rep on the phone.
I figure I should have recieved them on Saturday, March 4th at latest.
Come March 3rd I still had no recieved a tracking number, so I emailed them. I was replied to some 12hrs later with a tracking number, telling me they have been in transit and should arrive today.
I check the tracking info online, and it shows no tenative delivery date. Odd.. but ok.
Check it again the next day (4th) and it says "rescheduled delivery on the 8th"
WTF?
Whatever, thats bulshit... but I won't have the wheels until after then anyways. No big deal.
Fast forward past the weekend, and half of this week. I check the tracking number this morning at ~4:45am before going to work. It says it has arrived at the MESQUITE, TX hub. Great, that is less then 1hr away from here. I will definately get them today. Right?...WRONG.
I come home for lunch, check for the package.. nope. Check the tracking info... WTF. Now I am PISSED.
03/08/2006 8:45 A.M.
AN INCORRECT ROUTING AT A UPS FACILITY CAUSED THIS DELAY;THE PACKAGE WAS MISSORTED AT THE HUB. IT HAS BEEN REROUTED TO THE CORRECT DESTINATION SITE
03/08/2006 6:01 A.M.
A CORRECT CITY OR TOWN IS NEEDED FOR DELIVERY. UPS IS ATTEMPTING TO OBTAIN THIS INFORMATION;THE ADDRESS HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE DELIVERY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED
I immediately called UPS to find out what the hell is going on. The represenative I talk to tells me the address on the tires as shipped was "xxxxx" which was a combinatioon of the street address of my billing address, and the city/state/zip of my residence.
EDGE RACING ARE MORONS!
I give her the correct shipping address, and she said she cannot update the address until the package is scanned. She has NO IDEA where it is or might be. Nor does she know what the address was "corrected" to. Although they surmized it was corrected to Austin TX 78745.
So my tires are now likely on their way to my previous address, where NO ONE will be to accept them. Great.
Before calling Edge Racing to call them morons I wanted to make sure it wasn't my mistake. This is my first time ordering from them, so as such I go back to the order form online and fill in the info.
Auto fill remembers everything as I originally entered it.. correctly. If I try to swap any info it doesn't remember it. So it was definately thier screw up.
I call Edge Racing and proceed to tell their rep everything I've gone over here. After being on hold for what seemed liked forever he admits it was definately a mistake on thier part, appologised for it happening, and assured me "these things happen" to which I replied "not when you have competent people in your shipping dept".
I asked that he refund my shipping in full ($46.84)
He said he couldn't do that. I told him to talk with the powers that be, and make it happen. He said he would call me back tomorrow afternoon and let me know....
As it stands I will NEVER do business with Edge Racing again. Idiots.
