Unless as the seller you're looking to ensure the buyer has zero recourse if there's an issue. ALWAYS send money as goods/services.

If the seller (ridiculously) doesn't factor fees into the price and/or requests payment as a gift, I add the 3% to make sure I'm covered as a buyer.

Man people like this piss me off. They give a bad name to the Canadian R3vers. I havent been on this forum for too long but i've done quite a few transactions with people (all purchases) and everything has gone so smoothly. I'd be livid if someone had a part I needed and refused to deal with me because of a transaction gone wrong with some other idiot in Alberta. I'd fully understand his reasoning, but still be livid.

I'm glad I read this so I dont try to deal with this person since he is semi local. Hope it all works out for you Mr Burns!

What city in Alberta did you send the driveshaft to if you don't mind me asking. I've met a peter who is doing an m30 swap in person. I'd be very disappointed to learn it was the same guy
