He did not come up here for the purpose of rectifying the botched meeting. Let me rephrase just in case you misread that as well. He did not come up here out of the goodness of his heart for my sake. So don't throw it out like im brushing off favors people do for me.

And lastly,
The entire reason I made this post was not to blast him as a scammer. I explicitly stated this in my original post. Josh1254 did produced a part that was exactly as described. A functioning catalytic converter for a great price.
My qualm was that he did not honor his words. Words that played a significant role in my buying decision.

The two statements in particular being:
"Any muffler shop can weld this on"
"We can do a refund if you run into issues and can't get it to work"

So if you really want to blame me for something, then blame the fact that I was naive enough to trust a stranger I had no reason not to?

Ill just clear up a little bit of this. How can there be a "botched meeting" when there was never an exact time or location to meet? "Around 7" is not a time to meet. At this point there was no actual plan or location to meet anywhere, you just knew I lived in Vista.

This is the boiler plate stuff, you needed a cheap cat cuz you're a cheap fuck. He had one sold it. You have no idea what te fuck you're doing or where to go to complete your cheap task. You agreed to meet at a certain time, then went off the grid. It takes an hour or so to make that trip, as you've made it yourself, I'm sure, more than a few times. So I had left to be in your area at the time mentioned so you wouldnt be waiting around for me for too long.

There wasnt an exact location because you disappeared and never responded when i was trying to set up the location despite my multiple attempts to get in touch with you. And then when you finally responded 3 hours later, you said, "You said to meet at 7 though." The fact of the matter is, I was in Vista from 645 til just before 8 during which time I had been trying to get in touch with you and you were completely MIA.

And for the fourth time now, I am not arguing the fact that you delivered the cat. Because you did. This is true and I'm not denying that. As I said earlier, my fault for just taking someone's word for it and not doing any research for myself. I had taken the "any muffler shop can do it" and just ran with it without knowing it was illegal to weld a used cat onto a car. That is on me alone and I agree.
