sent him $190 for a headunit 8 days ago (6/6/2006) and he still hasnt sent me a reply regarding the shipping status of the headunit. It is now 6/14 and the last I heard from him was on 6/8 saying he'd send me the tracking number and confirming that I sent him the money.

I have filed a complaint on paypal asking for my money back. That is all I want back, my money. I do not care about the headunit and if he shipped it tommorrow, I would still want my money back. I refuse to let someone of this caliber take my money. This is NOT the way business is dealt and r3vlimited shows his last activity was a few hours ago. I have sent numerous emails showing my growing dissatisfaction before I escalated the situation.


Please do not do business with this man, Andrew Hart. He is a disgrace to this board.

I have PMed him asking for my money back before I take the dispute even higher with paypal. Im being more than nice with this situation. As of now, the dispute is still within the resolution center and between the 2 of us. He was on earlier so I know he has gotten my PMs. What's shitty for me is that I might lose money through paypal if I choose to withdraw the money because of paypal fees.

He was online last night at 10pm so I know he's gotten my PMs. Over countless transactions this has been my first bad one. I have 8k+ posts on bf.c and since I bought an e30 I thought I'd join this board because of its e30 dedication. My first sale on here went bad...URGH. I know its not the boards fault but maybe the admins can help me find his information?

I think hes just impatient. I dont get this bent out of shape over stuff. I have been waiting a very long time for two different parts from 2 different Mods on this site, and the way I think about it is that, they are real people, not a company so I give them their time. As long as they are up front with me and say things like "I completly forget" I'm cool. I think if we all are a little more patient then fourm sales will go much better.

He may have been impatient but you could have communicated with him that you might need 10, 14, 21 days to ship before you took his money, or perhaps you could have responded to his pm?

Either way, seems to me your correct response after he posted his displeasure might have been oops, sorry went out X day.

Instead you curse, call him names and generally act like the one that has been mistreated, you have his money so you owe him communication (and the product for which he paid)

Communication goes a LONGGGGGGGG way in situations like this. With all the stories floating around out there about people getting ripped off, it's not unreasonable for a buyer to expect that the seller stay in touch- even if it's just to say "sorry, I still have not had a chance to ship your lung".

If I'm not in a huge hurry for something, I'm OK with the shipper taking time to get it shipped, but I do get nervous when I don't hear from them, and they stop responding to my PM's and/or emails like they did when we were discussing the purchase.

Sounds like this deal will work out fine, it's too bad it had to take this route to get there.
