I got took. Wish I had read this thread earlier this month. I bought some tires from him on e30tech and I still have not heard from him nor have I received my tires. FUCK!!!!

I bought a set of wheels from him along with rings and lugs. He was in contact with me up unto a week before i got the wheels. Then after that he only appered one time after that to tell me about my lugs. The lugs was not in the shippment with my wheels and rings. I got the lugs about a month later after i got the wheels. He also said the wheels cleared the calipers up front and when i put them on the car, they did not clear.

I am happy with the items that i ordered, but i'm not happy with the seller and his business ethics :down:

I sent him $1690 on 2/8/08. He disappeared for a month, came back and apologized, then disappeared for about two more months. He would not reply to PM's, emails, phone calls, or even the paypal resolution center. Nothing for two months. I received the first box of parts on 4/29/08, and the rest on 5/6/08. How someone could be this inconsiderate makes me sick. Joe Hesselman is a total piece of SH*T, do not ever deal with him. EVER.

I paid for one set of bars, and like arnibjorn, also asked and received a full refund through paypal. Although Joe was asking me to drop my claim so he could get into his account, which I told him I would let paypal do the battle for my claim and get my refund. Fortunately for me I think DPI had some money in his paypal account, which paypal locked down and was able to refund my money with.

I believe Joe / DPI has not learned from this, or those who are still needing their parts or refunds, would have them already since we know that IE has shipped to him several weeks ago.

I would run the other way if you were thinking of doing business with anyone named Joe or DPI from Iowa period....

But I agree that DPI has no idea how to do business!

No Need to apologize Mr Anderson. This web site is awesome. It's DPI that has cast a fetid air on the group buy. Some how I think we will all make it. But until then, we need to drag DPI on the hot coals.. burn baby burn
