nope, that's the issue here. I have no idea if there ever was a package to begin with. like I said at the start of my original post, he seems like a legit dude, I just found it weird that after three weeks nothing shows with no tracking number and after he said the new cluster would be shipped Tuesday, no tracking number was provided there as well after he promised it'd show up in my email. I'm going to assume there's just a hiccup in his plans somewhere, I just wanted to check and make sure he was as reputable as he makes himself appear because if anything does arise, I only have about a week left to open a Paypal dispute.

I don't care who you are, holding my cash for weeks and not sending a part is bad business. He should have refunded your money if the part was "missing"...then find the part....then have you pay...then ship. Takes 2 seconds to refund a paypal.

The part was NOT missing, the part never showed up. We had a claim with UPS not long ago, and they are jerking us around on it, so I am shipping everything via USPS until they settle.

I don't have a tracking number on the orig package, and I am assuming that it was just mislabeled and got sent to someone else or an incorrect address. It happens.

I told Josh that I would send him a second cluster (which had 40k less miles, BTW) on the honor system that he never received the original package, and will send it back, if he recieves it.

All in all, my fault for trying to save a few pennies and not purchasing tracking or insurance? Yep.

Room for you to tell me how to run my business? Nope.

Thx Dave, for the heads up on this.

I would tend not to buy from somebody with 3 posts. But having over 3400 posts is usually a sign of trustworthiness. I'd wait a bit longer before worrying. It'll soon be there at your doorstep. Don't worry.

                Item: wiper control

                Payment method: PayPal

                Shipment: UPS Ground

Got the item as promised - works like new. Will do business with Joe again when the need calls for it.

                Excellent seller - very recommended.

                  BTW, all,

I seem to be getting a lot of "parts not-received" emails recently.

I have let my shipper go, and will overlook all shipments until I have someone new.
In the meantime, if you are missing any parts ordered, please email me direct to sales AT autobahnsport DOT com

                  cheers

Hope your guy enjoyed the maplight mirror. I finally used the BMW charger... Best money I have ever spent!

I think the 323 is nearing it's doom, unfortunately, but it will make lots of other E21 owners happy.

I'll be down again for Bimmerfest, but will stop in SLO fo sho!
Bimmerfest is May 8th I think? So I will probably be through a day or so prior.

                              oh ya, welcome to R3V!

I also had a great experience with Joe. I ordered a used fuel pump from him at a very fair price. He had it on the way that afternoon and it was on my doorstep first thing in the morning. I look forward to doing more business with him in the future.
