Visually it's pretty easy to deduce what's what.

Is the intake a straight runner or the smaller curved runners?
What oil filter housing? plastic or steel?
      Valve cover plastic or magnesium?
Is there a crank sensor on the front pulley? or is it in the rear of the block on the drivers side below the starter?

Bad idea for a junkyard car, who knows what's been swapped? Check the engine code.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.
