    VDO Gauges question

Hi guys, I installed a set of VDO gauges for oil pressure & temp, and water temp. But I think 2 of the temp gauges are not reading right. As you can see from the pic, water temp gauge is showing 50 deg C and oil temp 60ish deg C. Which is impossible I think. I just came back from a 45 min drive in 35 deg C air temp. Here's how I install the sensors. No. 1 is the oil pressure, no. 2 is the oil temp, and no. 3 is the water temp. Can anyone tell what I did wrong? Thanks Sent from my SM-N770F using Tapatalk

    Whelp,
on my screen, that's a tiny picture, but #3 is measuring the temperature of the water going to the radiator, NOT the temperature of the water in the engine.
Under heavy load, that should read correctly, but under part load, it may read low.

#2 I can't really see. The ECU reads oil temp at the filter housing- if you're measuring there, and your ECU says something different, do you have a 150c sender in there?

#1 is measuring pressure in the top of the filter housing.

#0 is that the ECU usually knows best!

      Yes you are correct sir.
But it doesnt make any sense because when I took the photo of the gauges, I'd been driving for almost 1 hour in 35° heat in heavy traffic. Any ideas what I should add to the system to correct the reading?
