My m50 idles fairly well, the main problem I have is during start up. It presses throttle by itself and Rpm's increase to 5K on a coollddddd starttt. Ouch
It does that for only one second, and then goes back to normal cold start idle, 1500.
So I came to the conclusion that, for some reason, the ICV during start up stays fully open for a second, this is killing me lol.
So I said heck let me try to delete it and see what happens, I just took the connector off and manually closed the icv, car starts without pressing throttle and idles perfect (except on cold starts, its a nightmare)
NOW HEAR ME OUT
I noticed something interesting. After deleting the icv the throttle response is on another level, the rpm gain and drop are super fast, its like you put on a lightweight flywheel.
What do you guys think?
