    Violent Vibration Between 40-50mph

I was driving my car, and I didn't have any problems, until I was making a fast right turn. It sounded like something fell in my car, so when I pulled up to a stop light, I was looking around but could not find anything. When I accelerated, I was sitting at 40mph on the road, and the car started to act a bit strange. It was shaking the entire car. Between 40-50mph the car would shake violently whether it be in gear or out of gear. Under hard acceleration it seemed to even out and not shake as much, but as soon as I would let it get back down to 40-50mph it was horrible. The car at idle shook a bit more than normal also. Anybody have any ideas?

I thought maybe it was the guibo or the csb. I replaced the csb and the guibo when I put the motor in. I'm hoping that it is that easy, but it seems like this car is just not that easy.

A good possibility. I need to finish up my girlfriends car and put my car up on the jackstands tomorrow evening.

Don't drive it any more till you've figured it out, not worth the risk.

CSB for sure. Also your u-joints might have been damage because it sounds like your driveshaft is no longer balanced. Id throw it in the air, pull the driveshaft cover and have a look. If your Ujoints are fucked then find a driveshaft shop to crimp in new ones and have them proceed with balancing(works just fine, don't listen to anyone telling you otherwise.). Should cost no more then 200 for labor and i think 42.50 per Ujoint. Good luck.

Oh make sure they're using a machine that straps it down and calculates the balance. Eyeing it does not work with these cars!!!!

CSB won't cause idle harshness, but it could be your imagination. Did you lose any wheel weights from the rear wheels? Check trans and motor mounts, CSB bolts, guibo bolts, driveshaft to diff bolts.

I definitely found out what at least 1 of the problems is. I finally got some time to look under the car during the day...

                  I'm missing a guibo bolt? o_O ?!

Gah this car is becoming a bit PITA!

                    Locktite!
Make sure nothing is damaged in the CSB area. I had a CSB break part of its strap once.

Holy shit! Never heard of just one bolt coming out.

Locknuts! Glad to hear you found a bit of the problem. Get another bolt on there with a locknut and check to see if the problem is gone with it on jackstands. If that checks out, then try a road test. Hope this is the fix! I'd personally recommend replacing the guibo and all the bolts.

Mine does this too, I'm currently missing one guibo bolt, but my vibration is due to the homemade tranny mounts that are installed currently.

That should be your only problem happend to me when I did my swap.

They need to be tight as fuck I threw a few. Then I added locktite and tightend the shit out of them and I haven had any problems. I bet you lost one and have a few that are not tight. Go threw and check all 6. you should be good to go after you fix the bolts
