Everything i buy is OE, except for small shit, I don't mess around with gaskets. What do you mean by prepping the surface properly? I cleaned everything with some brake cleaner.

Sadly I can not assume that everyone buys OE.

What did you torque the bolts to?

Brake parts cleaner and a quick hit with the emery cloth.

don't remember, i think they're supposed to be around 20ft lbs?

good call on emery cloth, when i get in there again i will do that.

go to home depot and get some duct tape, and use the hole roll. shit will be kosher.
