    is 110 octane safe?

i got a M50B25 NV no cats straight through exhaust and stock injectors.
would i see any gains if i ran a half a tank of 110 octane cam2? i gotta kid in a Honda talking shit and i just want a little edge to keep the Bavaria gods happy by crushing the stupid 4 banger.

    any thoughts?

110 cam 2 is typically leaded, so your 02 sensor is gonna hate you. Without any tuning, no, you really aren't gonna see shit.

Cam 2 100 is unleaded, I believe. Again, unless you've got an aggressive chip, I'm not sure what you expect to see with stock timing on a non FI motor.

A vanos engine, with knock sensors and a proper tune would make good use out of a higher ROH. You, not so much.

Just fucking race him and when you lose we'll all laugh at you because a Honda that has less money spent on it then your motor alone beat you.

You can bet your ass that Honda is going to have it. To have a chance in hell in winning you should too have some too...

Don't worry, my M50NV laid a nice open looped schlacking on a GSR integra last night. I made the bavarian gods happy last night.

It's A Honda 2000 with MoTeC system exhaust, and one, no, wait, two tanks of NAAAWWSSSSS.

a common misconception here - knock sensors do not advance timing if you put in better gas. They only retard it from the base timing map when something is screwed up.

putting in 110 octane in a car that wasn't tuned specifically for it is a waste. Plus it probably has lead in it so kiss your O2 sensor and cat goodbye..
