    I spoke to Dave @ Turner he mentioned that on some vehicles its necessary to ground pin 11 on the engine side of the harness. Let you know how that works.

    So is the only difference between the OBD-II and E30 gauge cluster sensor, the way they are grounded? Any of you electrical geniuses know how to possibly get around it?

    It's not easier, but it's cheaper and looks better to drill and tap.

    I've never had to get any tech support from Turner, but they do put out some nice and affordable E30 chassis reinforcement products.

    I don't see how tapping the head is easier than using the Zionsville Manifold. Which is precisely what I plan on doing.
