Will this intake throw off the MAF?

you need a 4" straight piece before the hfm. elbows create turbulance, high and low pressure / speed of air within the tube. NOT good for idle, throttle response ect. jason

hrmm can i get more info on your setup like where to buy that boot and how you did the plumbing? Im digging it

The boot is the ASC (traction control) boot that is in between the main throttle body, and the traction control throttle body. My S52 originally came with it, and so I already had it laying around. Any 6 cylinder e36 that came with ASC will have this boot.

I'll get more info on the plumbing this weekend.

LOL. It's part of the passenger side fender off my old Jeep Cherokee that I modified to fit. I added the fuh raze AEM sticker b/c it came with the filter. :nice:

Should come off of the 96+ M3s, and maybe the 328s.
