As others have mentioned mine has the aftercooler. It is the same RMS kit though.

i have a couple of questions:

does your car still have abs? i can't see the pump under the intake pluming.

the wiring harness looks like the stock s52 harness. are you running obd2 with the super charger? wasn't obd2 tuning software about twice as much as for obd1? that has been my experience from the calls around that i have made.

also, tell me about that custom aluminum tank on the driver side end of the radiator? most of the kits that i have looked at will conflict with the hose outlet on that side of the rad. i was wondering what was done there to get around that?

also, what exactly is an after cooler? same as inter cooler? i have a facelift car and i want to know which inter cooler i can run without conflicting with the brake cooling duct.

someone on one of these forums was selling a used sc kit that he was running on an s52ed e30. i was looking at it pretty closely, but the biggest problem is the software that comes with it would be a really big risk in my opinion. it may work perfectly, but the only way to check it would be to do a dyno run with an air/fuel readout. if it is off, you are looking at 800-1600 bucks to get proper software. it would be stupid to just run it without checking. for the amount he is asking, it would be so much safer to just buy the $3500 kit new and not risk blowing up your engine.

Yes it still has ABS, the engine is an S50 and it is OBD1. The tune I just purchased was 800 from Nick G. I am not sure what radiator is installed but I do not believe it is a custom unit.

There should not be any upper radiator hose conflict since the kit is designed for this engine and the E36 radiators will fit in the E30.

The aftercooler is between the charger and the throttle body, it uses coolant to cool the intake air before it enters the intake. There is a pump and a heat exchanger in the bumper which cools the water and pumps it to the aftercooler.

As for you SW comments, I am not sure what you're talking about.

Just don't feel like spending another half a months pay on more car crud. Want one as well. M3 is going to shop when i get home off this trip and The 318Ti is theoretically sold.

I hopefully sold my alpine weiss 4 door so that will fund remainder of projects.
