Shift Rod Help Something is wrong here

So I picked up a set from a member who makes these and this is the problem that I ran into. I am runing the 260 because my 260 is very nice but the rods look way off. Any input. Here are the pics

The aluminum pice is very nice but as you can see is it longer than my factory piece. Also the shift rod itself is different. My shift rod has the long stud and the short stud going in the same direction. The one I received has two short studs going int eh same direction. I need one with a long stud because my tranny is designed to work with the long stud.

    Any input is appreciated.

Ok so I cut my rod with the correct end and tapped it to accept a bolt then welded the bolt in place. I figure with a jam nut and som lock tight the setup will give me total adjustability.

That's strange. I've never seen a selector rod that had the studs facing opposite directions like your black one.

it was modified. And looks pretty damn similar to the one i took a picture of. In my FOR SALE thread.

Heres the problem: I found cores for your setup. That of which just happened to be different than your setup. That is why i perfer people send me their actual parts from their car.
Then ask a few guys how many different selector rods there are. Some have 2 short studs and others have one long one short. This will be resolved as i will be asking for pictures of the customers current setup before proceeding with the modification.(This is my fault for not asking you)
If you would have called/pmed me first then this pointless thread would not excist. Which does nothing but show that the product arrived to you as described, and perfectly matches the picture in my for sale thread. The Alum. part DOES need to be longer to keep the shifter from drooping down the right.

Im sorry one end wasnt longer to accomidate your exact needs, That would have been handled immediately. But now that its public so this is what we have.

Matt is a great seller and forum member who immediately upon learning of my issue offered to resolve it. His products are well made and people should continue to purchase them with confidence. His new policy should elliminate the problem that I ran into.
