but some of that is fluff. The manifold isn't bolted down and later I put the harness in, started connecting some connectors. Intake manifold needs the 7 nuts I can't find and the hosing work underneath. Wiring is going to need a harness done - gregslow318i (sp?) believes he can do an obd2 wiring harness adapter properly for me - but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Clutch/fw/pp is all ready and torqued down. Need to grab one of those tranny dust shields tomorrow so I can mount the trans/starter/driveshaft. I may need a csb as I believe I used the only good one I had.
Then I need to get the axles off the old trailing arms, and onto the replacement e30 M3 trailing arms. Finally have a thin walled 30mm socket. Gonna try the air gun tomorrow I hope.
Can't find the water pump pulley in the messy garage. So looks like I'll need one of those, the 7 manifold nuts, a dust shield, and a csb. The list never stops growing as you go. Now that I think of it, I'll need to measure for and buy a new belt too, as the OEM one I purchased will be too long for an application with no power steering or a/c.
L, let me know if you have a good winshield wiper motor. Need one of those too as this car's wipers have never worked under my ownership.
Feel like I'm so close, yet so far. I'll get it sorted though - just a matter of time.
BTW, i know it shouldn't be a priority but I'm working on getting a new set of wheels. Hope it works out ;)
