No they don't......I just scored a set of Group-N 's for my N/V

    Spec ares
    Intake 0.348 (8.8392mm) lift 240 duration
    Exhaust 0.385 (9.779mm) lift 228 duration

    my stockers
    Intake 8.5mm lift
    Exhaust 9.6mm lift

The change in duration is obvious on the Group-N cams compared to the stockers

i was just reading up on bimmerforums today about cam swaps. probably going to get s50's for my m50. with a good tune its good for 20-30hp....not bad considering you can get them used for like 300shipped and direct bolt in.... then the chip will cost tho.
you will need the trays like mentioned above... m50's got screwed in that department

I've always tried to keep the trays with the matching cams when at all possible since they've been run in since new.

As for the Non-Vanos M50's the hot set-up like mentioned is to move the intake over to the exhaust then you can buy a single "cheapie" cam like a Kent for a low buck upgrade, no need to splurge on a Schrick.

I misspoke, or should clarify: The M50NV Groupe N NV cams are the same spec as the stock NV cams, except they are blueprinted.

There is no need to get back on track. Your question was answered in post#12.

No your not SOL, you use the S50 exhaust cam on the intake side and the intake cam moves to the exhaust side. This was done some time ago before there were plenty of spare and wrecked m3 lying about being parted.

You'll need the cam trays for sure.

i was 100% sure you couldnt... but now i'm about 80% sure. i still really think you need s52 trays to use s52 cams in your s50, but if it's the same part number...
