Egas, take 4? I don't know I'm losing track...
But, it works bitchin'
Installed a normal M54 electric throttle body, my new board and the electric pedal and made a grocery run this morning. It drivers exactly like before. Hard to tell about pedal feel because I had it duct-taped over the stock one, but it feels nice and smooth.
Modulation on the highway is great, no hesitation or hicups. Accelerates briskly, shifts nicely.
On the way home I even disconnected a few wires to force "limp home" mode and I limped home. Engine idles at like 5000 rpm and it goes about 30mph on flat ground.
I'll take it back off for a few weeks so that I can make an enclosure for it and decide how to permanently mount the new gas pedal.
It's an all-or-nothing conversion and it needs to be perfect before I submit my gas to the 'trons.
