Might help a little, depends on how that chip is programmed.
If you're in warm-up mode at that temp, you're getting a rich mixture (High HCs) and possibly advanced timing (high NOx)

I need a new chip for the sliver label 413 that has the 95 M3 vin on it. I'm telling them the motor is from a 95 M3 so I don't have to run all the obd 2 stuff. I did warm my cat before the test.
What about a warmer t-stat?

Did you warm up your cat really well? Your results look like an inefficient cat.
Don't fuck with your MAF and injectors unless you change the chip also.

Did you warm up your cat really well the second time?
Edit: Are you running a 3.5" MAF and 24s with a stock chip? If so... go back to stock MAF and injectors.

Pre-tested my car at work before i went to the CA Bureau Of Automotive Repair (BAR).
Only thing I did differant for the 2nd test was replace my iridium sparks plugs with stock copper ones. Fresh Oil change, And put a bottle of Clean Power in my tank. Clean power is mostly Toluene so i think is just raises the octane rating.
Do you think I should run the stock 80* T-stat?
Also thinking of going back to a 3 inch MAF and 17 lb injectors.

There is no reason you can't pass emissions with the mods you want on your car, you just need to have it running well, have a good cat, and have a tune for the mods.

Mine passed a few years ago no problem with 24# inj, 540 MAF, e30 cat. No more sniff tests in MA as of last fall, though. Yippee.
