    a different radiator option?

I'm trying to decide what to use for my S50 install. After rummaging around in my yard of junk cars, I came up with a 91 318is radiator, a 97 328is radiator, and an 84 524td radiator. The 524td radiator has a thicker core than the other two radiators.....basically, it has an extra row. I searched but was unable to find where anyone else has used one of these. I assume the mounts are the same as any e28, but not sure since I don't have any other e28s in my yard. Since I spend a good deal of time at my house in Vegas where next week is forecast for 112 degrees, I think the 524td radiator is probably the best choice. Any reason not to use it?

It appears that the 524td radiator is the same as used in the E32 V12 cars. Trial fitting just revealed that in order to use it I will have to fabricate custom mounts after removing the stock radiator mounts. The effort is not that difficult, but until I see that the e36 radiator is inadequate, I will probably not do it. I can always fit it in later.

S54 m coupe/roadster radiator (+01) is as thick as you are describing and fits without modifying the mounts.

Bought the same radiator from Boneheadperformance, looks great in the car but there is a group buy on the other forum[ by one of your "banned" members] that has it going for$190. Jump on it if you can.
