    I am concerned about the axles, I emailed a few hi perf cv axle shops and I am waiting for a response, hopefully I can get a strong set of axles. My goal is to make it squat the best it can, since that is half the battle, the 245 drag radials will help as well. The 2.93 diff is built, the car will be a stoutly built daily driver...

      what whp do ppl start breaking axles?

        Breaking axles is more of a torque problem, specifically when you're get a great drag strip launch. Being a drifter on street tires, you'll have much less of an issue. The tires won't transmit the torque to the ground, so the axles never see that much.

                      So you spent 10k + shipping on a bronzit non sport interior e30 with a supercharged s50 and now want to put in a turboed s52? You haven't even driven the car yet and you. Are having it all torn apart for 700hp... This seems like such a silly situation to me tbh, that car will be totally undrivable. Will follow build thread for the lulz

                        Oh, how I love the know-it-alls... Do you remember what they say about opinions?

                        First off, for your information, I am NOT going turbo unless I fail to reach my power goals with the supercharger and after I do an assessment.This has been clearly stated. The car is not being all torn apart, its getting a headgasket, cams and a head installed.

                        The S52 is going in regardless of SC or TC since I will be building a forged bottom end to ensure engine longevity. This has been clearly stated yet again BTW. I guess you must have missed that, I understand... it happens when your trying to be an ass for no reason.

                        Have fun with your lulz, really... have fun.

                        I would love to see more pics of your build BTW because from what I have seen so far, you have no room to LOL about anything pal.

                                Here's an 1/8 mile time. spinning in 1st & 2nd with 225/50/15 M/T drag radials. Temp was around 90*.
