Good thing both sides use the same flange then. :)

Thanks, it's a 57trim stage III wheel .63 turbine, only going to run 7psi. Haven't finished it yet so it will be awhile before it runs.Need a Turbo manifold? We have them in stock- Click here---> http://rapidspoolindustries.com/

Like mentioned, oil return is easier, downpipe routing is really not that hard, and there's a lot of space up top to fit everything. Also makes working on the damn thing easier as well.
I think it may be overall more cheaper to do a top mount, which is also one of the reasons I went that route myself.

What about a rear top mount? I saw some pics of one on an e36 iirc and kinda liked how it moved the weight back. Not sure what that would do to the overall performance though as far as a longer charge pipe etc.///Alpinweiß II 24v 91' 318is, Alpinweiß III 99' 323i, 04' Yamaha R6 SE for sale, 00' VW GTi, 83' El Camino BURNED, 01' P71sold, 92' Miatasold

Hmmm I dont see how it puts any more stress on the manifold than a top mount would, but i am new to turbos so i'll have to do some more research. I plan on going bottum mount when i eventually turbo my car(piecing parts together slowly). I emailed Todd at TCD and he says their bottum mount m50 manifolds will work in a e30. I just like the bottum mounts cause it's a cleaner look, kinda stealthyComment

Don't worry about the stress on the manifold. You only have to worry about that when using one out of thin-walled tubing, which either way, top or bottom, the turbo would have to be supported.Hmmm I dont see how it puts any more stress on the manifold than a top mount would, but i am new to turbos so i'll have to do some more research. With what turbos? t3 super 60 or can you fit a gt35r in there (and still be able to route intake and charge piping)
I like my top mount. I can fit a gt40r...
