      ruh rowe... I was just gonna use the filter from that kit. The only other items with the kit are the tube and heat shield...

                  Update

                  Progress report:
                  • Head tapped for and installation temp sensor (middle sensor in the pic)
                  • Remanufactured alternator installed
                  • Belts and hoses installed
                  • New radiator in place (not final installation)
                  • Spal pusher fan installed
                  • Headers wrapped (forgot to take pics)

                                Almost forgot: I'm sure anyone who has purchased an engine/trans has wondered, prior to installation and start-up, whether or not the seller was legit and the motor would function as intended. Thank you Jesus that this thing is running.
