    It's the same part number as the IX booster but doesn't appear to have that middle piece.

    So there is a bracket that will mate the booster with the e30 firewall?

    dewd. you need the bracket in between the e32 booster and the firewall. go get it at a scrap yard.

    It doesn't line up with the stock e30 booster holes in the firewall.

    I tried to install the e32 booster and the two studs are each about a quarter of an inch off from the existing holes in the firewall.

    I know, I'm doing it wrong. What's the trick? Aren't they supposed to line up?
