I got my hand on a M54 from a 2003 X5.Iwant to know it it is possible to use the M54 crank & rods in my m50 block with my m50 head and stock pistons.About wat cr and power would i make?

it would work fine, but with a stock m50 headgasket your compression will be significantly lower than stock. you'll want to look into thin (cometic) headgaskets or custom pistons. with the thinner headgasket, you might want to check valve clearance with the pistons.

Well, he says he has the entire M54 out of an X5 and only wants to use the crank to build a 3.0 out of an M50??

no doubt. if you have the whole m54, youd be silly to just use it's crank.
