It's not bad... if you rub it enough it fades through to the tan, so I've had to "touch up" an area. Not a big deal though... I would like a more durable product though.Leave a comment:

Some interior update... dyed the carpet with the duplicolor black carpet paint, new e46 m3 (don't hate) floor mats, cut out a 2'' section of rust in the floor and welded in a new plate, sealed with seam sealer. Still in need of a passenger seat.

Also replaced the fog light lenses with Mr.Lens, and some "tinted" lamin-x to protect and go with the smoked euro ellips.
Before:

After (without lamin-x)

That's pretty much it for now... I'll try to get some pictures of Jon Volk's exhaust work sometime soon.Leave a comment:

Guess I can update this now, I bought a new center support bearing and pressed it on the driveshaft. Turner motorsport provided some nice slotted stoptech front rotors and PBR ultimate ceramic pads. Throttle cable and bracket for e34 525i coming tomorrow from BMW as well as new driveshaft nuts and bolts. Just ordered a 14'' Spal pusher high performance fan with curved blades (quieter) from bimmerworld.com ($149) its rated for 1720 CFM and their "basic" relay kit, and mounting kit- that shit came to @219 shipped. It sucks but, what can you do really.... I put in the oem a/c fan and it turned out it's no good.
I'm also working on the exhaust right now, going with a full stainless 3'' after the merge after the headers with v-band setup. I will be putting together a turbo for the car and another motor (m52?) for the spring and don't feel like paying for an exhaust twice. So feel free to say how the 3'' exhaust is a bad idea, but it will be reused when I connect it to a turbo downpipe. Jon at 666 fab is going to do the work hopefully in the next week.Leave a comment:
