If you are going to keep the stock overdriven transmission, you will want more gear. A 3.73 works great with the overdrive box. A 2.93 would be fine with the 1:1, but I'd still runn with a 3.25 with that gearbox.
^^But that's my opinion. I run a 2.93 with the overdrive box, and while my car is still pretty quick, the extra gear would really help. I do 70-100 miles a day of all highway driving, so cruising at 70-75 at 2k rpm is pretty great--- I average 32-33 mpg.
