    3 quick questions

I have my s50 swap done and I have been driving it pretty regularly lately. Today my low fuel warning light went on at half a tank and I was able to put 12 or 13 gallons in it. I bought the 7k gauge used here and it seems fine otherwise, any ideas?

Second my temp seems like it runs towards three quarters on the hot side and seems to bounce when it gets towards hot. I checked the hoses and rad with a thermal thermometer and they are reading around 170 so is it possible the gauge cluster is just off for both gas and temp?

well my third question I forgot because I am drinking and the first two were kind of long. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Sounds unrealated to the swap, you fuel level sender is shot or you cluster is, also the temp gauge is probably a loose wire on the back of the cluster, very common.

Probably bad solder joints on the SI board causing the coolant guage to appear to be failing. Could also be the batteries. That's my guess.

If you've still got your old cluster/another cluster plug it in and run the car with that so that you can see if the problem is present with another cluster or not. That'll narrow it down for you.

Ground issue, fer sure. I've had to wire a dedicated ground to my temp sensor since I have it in a plastic housing and whenever the ground gets flaky the needle starts jumping.
