9 pulses/rev. it's basically a square wave but the signal directly from the sensor is messier than that (reed switch). the speedometer cleans up the signal before it sends it to the OBC, cruise control and DME.

you could gut a stock speedometer and use the UAF2115 chip to condition the signal, then send that to your DME.

^no. Signal is processed by the (stock) cluster from the diff sensor.

C101 didnt have signal ended up pulling from pin 10 on connector C2 in my 91 325i for speed dependent boost control!

Sorry to bump a thread from the dead, but will pulling from pin 10 on C2 work for someone who isn't running a factory gauge cluster?

I don't honestly believe that anyone who likes vagina has a problem looking at that picture. You think i can hook up the Cluster directly to the ecu. i dont have cruise or the OBC, so would it still be in the C101? I need to get VSS boost control hooked up!!!!
